The Day After
So much hype leading up to Christmas. I think it started even before Halloween in my neighborhood this year. There’s something wrong with that.
Anyway, I got the meal on the table and then went to bed, remembering what has taken place this year. Just officiated my mother’s funeral on December 6th and my darling friend’s wedding on December 19th. In between, I spoke to a sold out crowd at The Paramount Theater in Austin, TX on December 12th.
I’m worn out.
I am content to let this year play out. I have hopes that 2015 will be a turning point.
